Garase music

Collecting classic vinyl is a passion of mine. So I spent my formative years listening to records from the sixties and the seventies. I have tons of influences, but there were two reasons I started writing songs: The Beatles and The Blues. I write contemporary pop/rock songs along with more rootsy blues/rock tunes. I’m a singer/songwriter that wants to be a band. No whining 11 minute durges here. I love big melodic vocal and guitar hooks so I put as many as I can fit into every track. My story or motivation is similar to that of the British Invasion, only in reverse - I grew up in rural Missouri surrounded bv American roots music and blues/rock, but all I wanted to do was write songs like all the UK bands I loved.
