Folk-Rock, AAA, Alt Country, Rock and Pop depending on the moment. The songs, with their painfully real lyrics, have been characterized as reminiscent of John Lennon’s edgier solo stuff and his slower songs and lyrics as that of Bruce Springsteen. It has been said that his passionate voice reminds one of a male version of Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders.
